Ink Stains and Memories

Dear Reader, This is a letter from my past. From a time when ink-stained fingers were the mark of a writer, a dreamer, and someone trying to make sense of their thoughts on paper.   I don’t know how often I think about you — the version of me who used to sit quietly in corners with nothing but a pen, a diary, and a thousand feelings that didn’t know how to be spoken out loud. So, they were written. Sometimes in full sentences, sometimes just words scattered across pages — raw, confused, but true. It is a peculiar truth that the smallest of objects can awaken the deepest reflections. Recently, while organizing my study, I stumbled upon an old inkwell—its glass surface still stained with dried black ink, its lid slightly rusted with time. There was something melancholic and charming in its presence, something that pulled me toward memory and meaning. “ The past is a lantern on the stern of a boat, which shows nothing but the track already passed.” And yet, as I gazed at t...

Nature’s Lullaby: A Beautiful Gift from Earth Dear Reader, I hope this letter reaches you at a moment when you can pause — even just for a breath.   In the chaos of life, we often forget the quiet comfort that surrounds us: nature’s lullaby. It plays gently, patiently, asking for nothing but a moment of your attention. No music app required. No playlist needed. The earth sings on its own — and her melody is beautiful.   Have you ever stood under a tree and listened to the leaves whisper? Or closed your eyes near a river and felt the water hum beneath your feet? Nature’s voice is always there, singing in soft winds, in birdcalls, in the rustle of grass, and even in the silence between sounds. It’s not loud, but it’s incredibly alive.   To me, nature’s lullaby is one of the most healing gifts the Earth has offered. When I’m overwhelmed or tired, I find peace in her song — a peace no words can fully explain. There’s music in the way light filters through...

Women's Day Blogging

"Behind the façade of independence, many women continue to struggle with societal expectations and patriarchal norms. They may appear strong and self-sufficient, but in reality, they are often shouldering the burden of unequal relationships, discriminatory workplaces, and biased social structures. Similarly, women who are perceived as equal may still face subtle forms of marginalization, from being talked over in meetings to being passed over for promotions. The disconnect between appearance and reality highlights the need for a more nuanced understanding of women's experiences and a continued push for true equality and empowerment." Oh ! I remember the story of such a woman who faced all these inequalities and violence so let me tell you that story of woman name Aziza. The Unseen Scars of Aziza As I sit down to write Aziza's story, I am reminded of the countless women who have been silenced, marginalized, and oppressed. Women who have been subjected to inequality, v...

A Memoire

The Beauty of Mundane  As I sit here, cradling my morning coffee, the familiar aroma transports me to a place of comfort. The daily grind. It's a phrase we often use to describe the monotony of our daily lives, the constant cycle of wake, study, sleep, repeat. But what if I told you that there's beauty in the mundane? That the daily grind can be more than just a necessary evil, but a catalyst for growth, learning, and self-discovery? I recall my first year of University, feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of coursework and responsibilities. The fluorescent lights of the library seemed to hum in tandem with my racing thoughts. I often found myself feeling like a cog in a machine, just going through the motions, trying to survive each day. But one day, something shifted. I realized that I had a choice to make. I could continue to trudge through my days, feeling unfulfilled and restless, or I could find ways to make the daily grind meaningful. I started small. I began takin...
